Angela Solis owns and operates The Glass Beadery.
Angela maintains a lifelong love of beads and jewelry,
but began crafting her first beading creations in
1987. From the initial seed bead rope necklace, to
the now more intricate sterling silver pieces, each
masterpiece remains original and wildly creative.
In her teens, Angela created pieces for her friends,
using seed beads with focal beads, strung on fishing
line. Later in her twenties, she fell in love with
lampworking glass at the flame, and from this the
passion bore a desire to create her own sterling silver
jewelry.
After the spark ignited, Angela attended bead shows,
art fairs, and lampworking classes to master her own
skills and become the artisan she is today. Her own
jewelry wardrobe brings a flood of inquiries and requests
as people take notice of her stunning designs. Further
demands for one-of-a-kind masterpieces thrust Angela
into business in 2005, and The Glass Beadery was born.
Angela has two beautiful children, Zoë and
Zion. While Zoë is a typically developing toddler,
Zion was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder
in the fall of 2006. The income from your purchases
on this Website helps provide early interventional
therapy for Zion. To learn more about Autism and
the rising incidence of this diagnosis in children
